day 21 - so long 'laden'
|
|
our flight departs from heathrow airport at 2200hours however, i stayed home the whole day and only went out just in time to catch the plane back home. dad, mama & my bro did some last minute shopping in the afternoon and got home just before leaving for the airport.
i had problems with packing. my emergency 'bag beranak' pun almost koyak. but luckily, i managed to zip up my luggage with the help of my brother!

day 20 - hyde park
|

|
we all spent half a day shopping and another half lazing @ hyde park. i no longer bother abt my hair, how i smile, what to eat and wear and what to buy. i just want to finish off the pounds and GO HOME!!!!!

day 19 - changing of the horse guards & st james park
|
|
We reached at the horse guards arch at 1055am, just 5 minutes before the ceremony commence.
Iman was taken aback when he sees the mounted polices and horses that day. Despite of slightly strong wind and the pouring rain, he still gets electrified and indeed pleased with the new experience with horses. Cute!

day 18 - oxford street & harrods
|
|
Exhaustion kicked in when day 17 & 18 approached. I was home sick, wanting to go home badly. I told dad I had enough of shopping, told mama I miss my darling husband who is @ working his ass off digging money from one hole to another to support his lil nuclear family consist of a demanding wife and playful son. I miss doing house chores @ my own home. READ : berpeluh-peluh sweeping & mopping the floors, doing laundry in my backyard, folding clothes, ironing, doing artwork with the lil dude in the TV room, assisting lil dude with counting in the kitchen whilst I cook dinner, play football in our infinity lawn whilst waiting for darling husband to come home from work and etc.
I know I have a few more items to purchase. But this old body of mine isn’t cooperating. She prefers to stay home, laze in bed, munching white choc biscuits whilst watching telly in her PJs. Ahhh… pure bliss!
So, I requested to go out slightly later than usual that day. We all went to oxford street for some shopping, went to café rouge for tea, went to harrods and bought souvenirs for family and friends and left for home.

Nothing much we did on the 15th day. Left home, makan, strolling, shopping, sight seeing, makan again and etc. we went to High Street Kensington again today as I needed to buy summer dresses I have been eyeing on. Simply cant get enough of those summer dresses lah!

day 16 - din din @ khan's, bayswater
|
|
From noon till evening, the whole family spent time at Westfield, just 5 minutes walk from home. We had a quick bite for lunch, shop and stroll in the mall. Dad, mama and my brother had enjoyable time at the mall, while I on the other hand, went through a lot of hassle feeding the lil dude his lunch. I left the mall, walked to the park, and tried feeding him and to my devastation, he still refused to eat. Then, I went back to the mall and get my brother’s help.
Amai had to stop shopping and entertains the lil dude. Arrgh…. Such a stressful time I had seeing my son’s refusal to food that day.
Then, as I was about to do my shopping, dad called up and tells to leave for home and get ready for dinner. My impromptu plan to meet with a friend was postponed.
So we went home got ready and left early for din din @ my all time fav joint; KHAN’s. Love it! LOVE LOVE LOVE Indian cuisine!
Note : 'hang gi' means HUNGRY!!!

day 14 - around london
|
|
iman’s elcheapo stroller went kaput when we were strolling on the street. So since we are heading back to oxford street for another round of breaking the bank, we went to buy the stroller first. I on the other hand, have a few items to exchange.
So, it was a solid 5 hours of shopping and an hour of eating. Everyone else was healthy except me. I wasn’t getting any healthier by the days despite of a few dosage of paracetamol, vit c and multivit.
i know my body needs rest.
So after shopping, we had early dinner @ pizza hut and went straight home, did some laundry and zzzzz…. I was the first to hit the bed and off to lala land…

nothing much we did on day 12 & 13. i almost fall sick on day 12. dad & mama went to portobello's antiques market and met some good friends. on with other hand, my bro, iman and i took some rest @ home, went to the park @ shepherd's bush green, went to next's 50% sale @ westfield, stock up iman's snacks @ morrison's and that's it!
day 13 - the whole family went to harrods. did a lil shopping, had too much krispy kreme donuts & drinks, dinner @ eat, balik rumah & slept soundly throughout the night. btw, i finally let the lil dude explore my camera. he was delighted to finally play with his mama's other 'boyfriend'. i couldnt stop him anymore. he was too curious and im getting unwell by the day.
