very occupied lil dude!

since we sent the maid off way much earlier than our initial plans, a lot of spring cleaning projects was due. i had no other alternative but to do it all myself, accompanied by iman, of course.
i have no other time to spare but now to refrain myself from doing all other house chores.
my mama suggested a part time maid to help me out with all the sorting, tossing old memories away and rearranging stuffs at home, but i beg to be excused from dealing with indonesian maids till further notice. i am petrified. i need longer time and more space NOT to be in contact with any indonesian maids for that matter.
i communicate lesser with my mama and MIL’s indon maid. i even stayed away from my next door neighbour’s indon maid. i find them annoying to certain extend. i have had enough dreadful experiences my 2 ex-indon maids. i thought my 2nd ex-maid was a god send but she proves me wrong.
so the first scene for spring cleaning was the guest room. a lot of old stuffs screaming to be thrown away. so iman was by my side, making himself busy with his own activities. he ran back and forth from the guest room to tv room. the playhouse disney channel was on all the time throughout the spring cleaning phase.
it has been ages since i last hold a broom and a mop stick! why oh why!

dinner @ my sister's KL bird nest

my parents went to kampong chinchin, melaka the other day to pick my nenek and her maid up. nenek was due for her routine check up at ampang puteri. so prior to her check up, we all brought her to my sister’s bird nest in kl for our last dinner before the keys were surrendered to a foreign tenant.
nenek was contented with the view and the preps my sister did for her tenant. my sister is very lucky! lucky! lucky!
after yummy dinner, chit chat and lepak, we headed home just in time before our husbands return from their respective appointments.

12hours after our maid left
|

we sent our maid off last night after a horrendous incident. we caught her stealing cash from us, my clothes, my sister's stuff, some of my gem stones jewelries, a batik shawl and a few items from unknown owners. she even stole our stocks of hair shampoo, toothbrushes and tooth pastes! she even had her own mobile phone for 4 months without our permission. argh, i hate her! enough said!
on the minute of her departure, i had my parents at our home to witness the incident. my dad asks me to check her luggage before we send her off. to my surprise, i discovered her diary which written in black and white in dark ink that my son is an abnormal child! she claims that iman is “anak majikan yang TIDAK NORMAL. tidak tahu duduk diam, sering kali joget-joget, jerit-jerit menyanyi macam orang sakit dan suka lari-lari bagai dikejar syaitan”.
how would you react to the above?
i mengucap thousands of times in front of my dad and went speechless thereafter. the only word i can afford say to straight to her face was B*TCH! if given the chance and bravery, i would've punched her in the face.
i didn’t want to prolong her waiting period and didn’t want to waste my time for confrontation. so i kept silent. all i needed at that point of time was to send her off instantaneously. i just couldn’t even look at her face.
anyway, our lives go on as usual but i am indeed embittered by these unpardonable manners and habits of hers.
btw, these photos were taken in my bathroom earlier this morning. the little fella refused to mandi in his very own bathroom...

after returning from a long lunch date with TFP, i spent an hour in our lawn with lil fella. after an hour of 'exercise' he was all sweaty and so was i... penat!
darling husband was at school for his last preparation for his financial accounting paper. he will be on a week leave sometime soon so both iman and i will have him all to ourselves at home.

bought these floral print materials from ikea during sale. it was dirt cheap ok! dirt cheap! bought 32 mtrs in total. i thought of sewing all 11 pcs myself but still couldn't find the cable for my sewing machine. urgh! since i don't want to buy the time so i send them to my seamstress instead. my ever so efficient seamstress took 48hours to turn these pieces to curtains.
love them all! our KL bird nest's concept is poles apart from the concept of our home in SA.
